The Alumni Association is committed to supporting students in their journey beyond MHS. Below is a list of the awards and scholarships that are presented annually by MHSAA. All awards and scholarships are presented by the school, annually.

Antonio Forcellini MHS

Antonio Forcellini Legacy Scholarship

The scholarship will be awarded annually to at least two MHS graduates who have been accepted as a full-time student into an accredited undergraduate program of study leading to a bachelor’s degree.  The Scholarship is renewable for up to four years, or the completion of the undergraduate program of study, whichever comes first.

Milton Hershey Stamp

MHSAA Stamp Scholarship

In 1995, Milton S. Hershey was honored with a postage stamp. The proceeds from this initiative were given to the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association to establish two scholarships. Today, these awards are presented to two senior career technical students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and potential in their career categories.

MHS Lifer Award

MHS defines a “Lifer” as a student that enrolled in MHS no later than 1st grade and remains at MHS through graduation. These students receive a personalized gift from the Honorary Chapter of MHSAA and MHSAA provides lifetime membership into the Association.

Milton and Catherine Hershey Citizenship Award

Milton and Catherine Hershey Citizenship Award

The Milton and Catherine Hershey Citizenship Award is intended to acknowledge a senior student for his or her striving to do their best – whether it is participation in a variety of MHS and MHS-related activities, associations, and/or clubs. Other related qualities include interpersonal skills as he or she interacts with others within the MHS family.

MHSAA Culinary Awards

MHSAA Culinary Awards

The Culinary Awards grew out of a partnership with HE&R and are designed to support those students who are pursuing a degree or career in the Culinary or Hospitality industry. Only students that have successfully completed the Co-Op experience with HE&R and received the recommendation of their culinary arts teacher and HE&R chefs are eligible for the award.

Harrisburg Chapter Career Technical Education Award

Harrisburg Chapter Career Technical Education Award

The Harrisburg Chapter Career Technical Education Award is presented to a senior who shows excellence in his or her Career/Technical Area and who shows promise in moving forward in their industry when they enter the workforce.

Spartan Pride Award

Spartan Pride Award

The Spartan Pride Award is presented by the Homestead Chapter of the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association to two seniors who outwardly demonstrate leadership and unique characteristics in support of MHS and its programs.

Community Service Award

Community Service Award

The DMV Chapter presents the Community Service award. This award is given to an MHS Senior who has demonstrated a commitment to helping others in need by donating their time and talent to volunteering in Hershey.
