The Mission of the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association (MHSAA) is to foster a sense of family and community among alumni, promote and enhance the relationship between Milton Hershey School and its graduates, and support the principles of Milton and Catherine’s Deed of Trust.

MHSAA is governed by an elected Board of Directors who serve three-year terms, and directors can serve not more than three consecutive terms; an exception is made to these term limits for Chapter Representatives, who have no limit to the number of terms they may serve. There are twenty members of the Board of Directors who are elected by members at large, Chapter Representatives, and those appointed by the President to serve specific in areas that require specific skillsets, i.e., Legal Counsel, Treasurer, Emeritus Members.

The Board proudly represents the interests of the 11,435 graduates, supports our members initiatives, and acts as the “keeper of the flame” of our Founder’s intent with their Deed of Trust. MHSAA is an independent 501c3 organization.

The alumni support the mission of MHS as a key stakeholder with the K-12 program and support young alumni as they transition into adulthood. The Alumni Association engages our constituency to provide support where the Deed of Trust is constrained. MHSAA has many programs that are both dependent and independent of MHS and in collaboration with our home and school.
