Membership Types
MHSAA recognizes that the “MHS Experience” belongs to more than just alumni. Our time at the school was impacted by our fellow students, staff members, and family members. For this reason, we have three types of members and two membership levels.
Regular Members
Regular membership is reserved for anyone who received a diploma or certificate of attendance from H.I.S. or M.H.S., including students who left early to serve in WWII.
Affiliate Members
Affiliate Membership is for a family members and descendants of graduates, former students who did not graduate from H.I.S./M.H.S. and retirees of the school.
Honorary Members
Honorary Membership is reserved for those who perform a signal service for MHS/MHSAA. Honorary members are granted lifetime membership at no cost and must be nominated.
Membership Levels
MHSAA offers two levels of membership.
Annual Membership
Dues paid for the membership year of September 1 – August 31 of the following year. Current dues are $30.
Lifetime Membership
Dues paid for the lifetime of the member. Cost is based on the age of the member at time of payment.
- Age 18 – 30 $750
- Age 31 – 35 $660
- Age 36 – 40 $570
- Age 41 – 45 $510
- Age 46 – 50 $420
- Age 51 -55 $360
- Age 56 -60 $300
- Age 61 – 65 $240
- Age 66 and older $210
Neither affiliate or honorary members are eligible to run for the MHSAA Board of Directors, and affiliate members are not eligible to vote for the MHSAA Board of Directors.
