My mom died at a young age and I had a hard time coping--so I acted out. Mrs. Jett was one of the few people who saw through my toughness and gave me a real chance to get to know me. She saw good in me that a lot of people didn't and gave me a safe place to go and just talk to her whenever I was hurting or ready to act out again. I appreciate her being there for me from middle school to high school. When I crossed that stage on graduation day, I did it for myself but also for her and to see that smile on her face knowing she helped me get there. Sometimes it only takes one person to see the good in you, and she was my person! Love her!❤
