Each Homecoming year, our Milton Hershey School Alumni Association pays tribute to all MHS alumni and honorary alumni who have passed away throughout the year. This time-honored tradition holds a very special ceremony that immediately follows Chapel Service on Homecoming Sunday.
The MHS Alumni Association invites and encourages all to attend to be part of this moving and dignified ceremony as we say a final farewell to our Milton Hershey brothers and sisters.
For Homecoming 2016, it is estimated that we will be recognizing approximately 130, or more, of our departed MHS family during the ceremony and it would be an amazing and monumental show of support to see many of our MHS alumni and their families in attendance.
We Also Need Your Help! As part of this extraordinary ceremony, we are looking for volunteers!
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Memorial Grove Host – Each deceased alumni/honorary alumni family is hosted by a MHS Alumni volunteer; and
- Day of Event Volunteers – many opportunities to serve as ‘extra hands’ to greet families into Chapel, to direct them to the Memorial Grove Pavilion; and to distribute Memorial Grove programs, etc.
Interested volunteers, kindly complete the ATTACHED SURVEY by clicking here.
(Note: All Hosts & Volunteers are to arrive at Chapel Service by 8:30 am)
Thank you and blessings to you and your families!
